Website user agreement
Useful terms.
No small print games.
These terms govern use of the public DoenIT website. They do not replace a signed proposal, service agreement or project-specific contract.
01 — Agreement
Using this website.
This website is operated under the name DoenIT (“DoenIT”, “we”, “us”). By using the public site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
These terms apply only to the public website. Paid work, deliverables, support and confidential information are governed by the signed agreement for that engagement. If there is a conflict, the signed agreement prevails for the engagement.
02 — Information
Informative, not a professional opinion.
Website content is general information about technology, digital delivery and operational privacy enablement. It is not legal, regulatory, financial, medical or other professional advice, and it does not certify any organisation as compliant.
We aim to keep information useful and current but do not warrant that every statement is complete, error-free or suitable for a particular decision. Contact a suitably qualified adviser for advice on your circumstances.
An enquiry, email or website interaction does not create a client relationship or obligation to accept work. A relationship begins only when the parties conclude an applicable agreement.
03 — Acceptable use
Use the site responsibly.
You may browse, link to and print reasonable extracts for lawful internal use. You may not interfere with security or operation; attempt unauthorised access; introduce malicious code; scrape the site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load; impersonate another person; submit unlawful or infringing material; or use contact details for unsolicited bulk messaging.
The contact form asks only for your name and surname, contact number, email address and enquiry message. You confirm that information submitted is accurate, lawful and yours to provide. A form submission does not create a client relationship, contract or obligation for DoenIT to accept work.
04 — Ownership
Intellectual property.
Unless otherwise stated, the site design, original text, graphics, brand elements and code are owned by or licensed to DoenIT and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No ownership is transferred by access to the site.
Third-party names, marks and content remain the property of their respective owners. Written permission is required for republication, adaptation, commercial reuse or removal of notices, except where the law expressly allows it.
05 — External services
Links and third-party content.
Links are provided for convenience or source attribution. We do not control third-party sites and do not endorse or accept responsibility for their availability, security, content or privacy practices. Review their terms before use.
06 — Responsibility
A fair allocation of risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the public site is provided “as is” and “as available”. DoenIT is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website content or from interruption outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any right that applicable consumer law does not permit a supplier to waive. You remain responsible for your own systems, decisions, backups and use of third-party services.
07 — Legal details

These website terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Subject to any mandatory consumer right or agreed dispute process, South African courts have jurisdiction.
